We’ve had some amazingly warm midwinter weather this week, and I even got out my thongs for a day. I got lulled into a false sense of spring with those few warm days, getting all excited about summer and the beach, getting fit, going on holiday, doing spring planting, and now it’s gone back to the usual cold, rainy winter it was. Sadly, the white jeans are back in the drawer.

I had the kitchen photographed by an interiors magazine yesterday and they left behind the beautiful flowers which were used in the shoot. The prettiest bunch of peonies and poppies. I took a few pics of the kitchen, (which hasn’t been so clean since the day it was installed), as it looked so nice this morning in the early morning sun.
