The new home of Bill and Giuliana Rancic was recently featured by Traditional Home. Designed by Lonni Paul who collaborated with the design-savvy couple, it is one of those gorgeous classic American homes that has every detail, colour palette and design feature I love – dark timber floors, white marble kitchen and bathrooms, lots of blue, ivory, grey and white soft furnishings, elegant but relaxed, light and airy. It’s picture perfect.

A beautiful entrance hall opens to the various living areas, including the formal sitting room, open plan kitchen and family room. A calming neutral palette of ivory and beige.

The sitting room is an elegant, serene and sophisticated space. The wallpaper is Mayanne by Phillip Jeffries, rug by Calvin Klein Rugs and lighting by Circa Lighting.

An elegant etched mirror by Restoration Hardware adds some shimmer to the beautiful floral grasscloth wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries.

The dining room features easy slip-covered chairs for a relaxed and comfortable feel, rug by Safavieh and Ticking Stripe wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries. I love the coffered ceiling and wainscoting that adds a classic architectural strength to the space. Chandelier from Circa Lighting.

Nothing like a beautiful fresh white kitchen with Carrara marble benchtop and splashback, and Country Chandelier from Circa.

A bright and sunny breakfast nook off the kitchen features a rug from Dwell Studio and light by Circa.

This is a favourite room of mine, no prizes for guessing why. A classic timeless palette of blue and white, combined with soft greys, ivory, beige and a few dark accents teamed with that gorgeous grasscloth wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries. There’s nothing obvious about the scheme, just a calming and comfortable palette but an effortlessly stylish space.

The master bedroom displays another restful and soothing palette lead by this stunning wallpaper, teamed with an amazing Ralph Lauren four poster bed, rug from Surya and lamps by Andrew Martin.

The master ensuite features Carrara marble throughout and that gorgeous flower shaped tufted ottoman in Cowtan & Tout linen. This family must watch a lot of TV, because there seems to be one in every room! I guess when you have your own TV shows you don’t want to miss a minute of them?!

The baby nursery is a sea-inspired colour palette with a rich blue/green grasscloth on the walls and a fun chevron Jonathan Adler rug. The cot was custom made featuring baby Duke’s initials.

Cheerful and casual guest room with pretty blue bedding from Restoration Hardware and generous striped rug from Safavieh.

Fabulous relaxed outdoor dining and lounge space, with setting from Restoration Hardware.  The blue and white theme continues outdoors with Sunbrella fabric covered white sofas and RH coffee table. Look at the detail on those wonderful pillars and the paneled ceiling.ss_102118818I know it’s certainly my idea of the perfect family home. Just lovely.

  1. Simply stunning. I have found a home that I wan’t to buy and turn into something like this. It’s a pity but I am about 2 million short.

It is certainly easier to have the 2 mil but sometimes it is more fun without it. Just the other day I had ordered two small bowls with handles (blue and white, of course). Up pops a pin on Pinterest with a very similar bowl. I had to follow the link to check the price. I had paid under $10. Lo and behold the link showed the bowl at auction with a min of
      $11,400. Now that was fun!

So many celebrity homes are usually large but lacking warmth but this one has to be my all time favourite, wouldn’t change a thing about it.

How did I miss this post?? I’m pleasantly surprised by all the ‘catalog’ furniture pieces used in this celebrity couples home. I love to see design that is classic, timeless and accessible! Thanks for sharing.

P.S Do you know the wallpaper in the master bedroom? It’s the perfect blue.

Beautiful home! I’ve been searching months trying to find those globe pendant table lamps on the sofa console. Any idea/leads where to find them?

  12. Barb says:

In the last season of their show, they moved out of this house after only a year. What a waste of time and money.
