I'm Melinda Hartwright, an interior designer and lover of all things classic, timeless, colourful, beautiful and joyful. My family and I recently relocated from the Southern Highlands, NSW to the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. We are settling in to our glorious new surroundings near beautiful Noosa and looking for the next project to make our home.

This is the place I share everything I love about decorating and design, my client projects, my home and garden, my passion for blue and white, and enduring love of classic and timeless interiors.

Our Home & Garden

We recently sold our beautiful home and garden in Bowral, NSW which has been a labour of love for the past 9 years (my husband Tom doing the lion's share of the work in the garden and me on the house!). We have done three major renovations at various stages with our home constantly evolving and changing with our family and needs and budget! As for our magnificent garden, Tom has worked his magic here. Considering we didn't have a single hydgrangea bush when we moved in, he has created a bounteous display over the years, most of which he propagated himself, and which brings such joy throughout summer. The garden was recently featured on the cover of Home Beautiful magazine.

We are now looking for the next place to create a family home near Noosa. I'm pretty keen on being near the beach so I can walk and swim there daily, and Tom wants some space for a garden and Hinterland views, so we'll have to see what we can find that caters to both!
